Recruitment initiative introduces migrants to city businesses

In practice, 20 migrant candidates, previously trained in employability skills, will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to top companies in the city of Porto through a three-minute pitch. The opening session will count on the presence of the city councilor for the Department of Housing and Social Cohesion, Fernando Paulo.
Porto_4_All is a pilot project dedicated to the professional integration of the migrant community developed by Porto City Council, in partnership with the High Commission for Migration, ANJE - National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, Seiva Association, Cesae Digital - Centre For the Development of Digital Skills, EAPN - European Anti-Poverty Network and IEFP - Institute of Employment and Vocational Training.
In the context of this program, several actions have already been carried out, such as: the conference "How to enhance the professional integration of migrants?", with the objective of making known the existing support for hiring migrants and sharing good practices of professional integration; training and approximation actions to the labor market, awareness-raising and information actions for potential employers, training and information actions for professionals from the Social Network of Porto.
