Portugal is 37th in the competitiveness ranking

In the global competitiveness ranking of the IMD World Competitiveness Center, Portugal registers an increase of two positions compared to 2019, climbing from 39th to 37th place.
According to the results of this IMD competitiveness ranking, in which Porto Business School collaborates exclusively in Portugal, the qualified workforce, the opportunity cost and the stability of the infrastructure continue to be the factors that make the national economy more attractive. The ranking of the most competitive countries in the world continues to be led by Singapore, with an increase of Denmark and Switzerland, to the second and third places respectively.
