Ryanair announced this week that it will have 57 routes at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport this winter, including six new routes to Billund, Bergerac, Maastricht, Madeira, Strasbourg and Breslau.
In a statement, the company said it had invested more than 1 billion euros in three new Boeing "Gamechanger" aircraft, scheduled for March 2023, which have the added value of carrying more passengers, using less fuel and emitting less noise.
The new routes set for winter 2022 are: Billund, Denmark (two weekly flights); Bergerac, France (two weekly flights); Maastricht, Netherlands (two weekly flights); Strasbourg, France (two weekly flights); Breslavia, Poland (two weekly flights) and Madeira (seven weekly flights).
For Elena Cabrera, Ryanair's Manager for Spain and Portugal, the company is delighted to increase its presence at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, stating that "This winter, Ryanair is offering its customers and visitors from Porto lower and more reliable offers for their winter travel plans."
