Porto Leading Investor Maersk wins national carrier award
Maersk was recognized and awarded as the "Best Carrier Portugal - Latin America" at the yearly Transportes & Negócios Cargo Awards
Maersk, a proud Porto Leading Investor, was recently recognised as the "Best Carrier Portugal - Latin America" at the Transportes & Negócios (T&N) Cargo Awards 2025. The yearly award ceremony hosted more than 200 people from several segments of transport and logistics.
The trophies were presented by João Neves, president of APDL, Pedro do Ó Ramos, president of APS, António Nabo Martins, executive president of APAT, António Belmar da Costa, executive director of AGEPOR, Daniel Pereira, vice-president of APAT, Helena Fernandes, commercial, marketing and communications director of APDL, Carla Macedo, advisor to the APA Port Coordination Directorate, and Inês Simões Carneiro, APAT's regional manager for the North.
Maersk's award, for "Melhor Armador Portugal-América Latina," underscores the Leading Investor's dedication and commitment to maintaining a robust, reliable, and high-quality service across this vital intercontinental trade lane. "A big thank you to our customers for their continued trust and to the entire Maersk organization for their relentless efforts," said Maersk Country Representative Miguel Basto in a LinkedIn post that highlighted the award.
