The global remote support company has one of its main centres in Porto, bringing together people from dozens of nationalities and working in various languages and time zones
Recognized as a "Great Place to Work” in Portugal for the second consecutive year, Porto Leading Investor Foundever has been operating in the city of Porto since 2015. With almost 900 people in its local office, from dozens of nationalities, the tech and global remote assistance specialist operates in various languages and time zones.
The company has in place a permanent work system prepared to deal with these different time zones, depending on the nationality of the clients, covering more than 20 different languages. "We provide remote customer service, technical support, content moderation, retention and acquisition, as well as back-office services and, for example, transaction processing,” said Pedro Santos, Foundever's manager in Portugal. Financial services are also provided in areas ranging from health to retail and e-commerce.
Born as Sitel Group, a name it has kept since its foundation in 1985 until 2023, Foundever is headquartered in Luxembourg and currently has a total of 150,000 employees in 45 countries. In Portugal alone, the company has three strategic centres, employing 3384 people predominantly between the ages of 25 and 35.
