Porto Business School's Global Online MBA among top 10 best in the world
Porto Business School's Global Online MBA is among the world's 10 best in this year's edition of the Online MBA ranking, coming in at 8th place worldwide and 4th place in Europe. Each year, the exclusive Financial Times ranking highlights the best online MBA programmes worldwide, this being the first time that Porto Business School's MBA is distinguished in it.

Launched in 2020, the 17-month Global Online MBA course is a pioneer in integrating AI into the curriculum, while also being the first 100% online MBA programme offered by a Portuguese business school.

Each application for the ranking was evaluated according to various indicators. In the Online Interaction Rank indicator, which assesses the quality of the interaction and digital experience of students, Porto Business School's course is considered the best in the world, standing out for its excellence in online delivery. In terms of the qualifications and experience of the teaching staff, the course was placed among the 3 best institutions worldwide.

The course's diversity was also a distinctive factor: in the macro indicator Programme Diversity, the Global Online MBA stands out for its total gender balance (with 50% men and 50% women) and cultural representativeness, bringing together students from 19 nationalities in a truly global learning environment. The programme also ranks 2nd worldwide for the presence of women among the teaching staff (47%).

In addition to these results, Porto Business School's Global Online MBA also stood out in the Value for Money Rank indicator and the Career Service Rank indicator, reaching 5th place worldwide, underlining the programme's positive impact on the career progression of its students.

In terms of overall student satisfaction, the programme ranked among the world's top 4, with a score of 9.44 out of 10, reflecting the excellence of the academic experience offered by Porto Business School.

For José Esteves, Dean of Porto Business School, the debut in the Financial Times ranking "reinforces Porto Business School as a global benchmark in executive education”. "This recognition validates our commitment to innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence in this MBA, where PBS has been a pioneer, preparing leaders to transform the business world with a digital and future-oriented vision,” he adds.

António de Sousa Pereira, Dean of the University of Porto, recalls that "the University is committed to training those who will imagine our collective future in the most diverse areas of activity, pursuing academic and scientific rigour, and seeking to respond to the practical needs of the community”.
