The Campanhã Intermodal Terminal (TIC), a strategic mobility infrastructure inaugurated in 2022, has steadily strengthened its commitment to improving mobility in Porto, facilitating the connection between the city and more than 100 national and international destinations.

Since 2022, around 20 million users and 400,000 buses have arrived or departed from Campanhã, with a record of 10 million people in 2024.

As Portugal's largest mobility hub, TIC has reorganized Porto's transport system through an intermodal approach that combines metro, train, and bus routes. With an investment of more than 13 million euros and a green area of more than 4.6 acres, TIC is aimed at assuring an efficient and sustainable public transport network for passenger transportation in northern Portugal, improving connectivity between different modes of transportation and thereby making it easier for people to travel to and from Porto.

The terminal has also played a key role in implemeting the main objective outlined in the Porto Climate Pact - achieving carbon neutrality in the city by 2030 -, having allowed a reduction of 2,485 tons of CO2 since 2022.
