Deloitte will set up its new headquarters in the city of Porto in Ageas' former building, located in the Boavista area. With an area of 10,300 square metres, MUTUAL will centralize more than 600 employees of the consulting and auditing firm, who until now were spread across different facilities around the same area.

Located at 39 Rua Gonçalo Sampaio, just a few metres from the Boavista roundabout, the property that for several years was the headquarters of the insurance company Ageas will be Deloitte's new home. The building was subject to extensive renovation works, with an investment of over €35 million, resulting from a partnership between London-based developer and investor Osborne+Co and Porto-based developer Adriparte. The renovation works themselves were carried out by MAP Engineering, turning MUTUAL into a reborn landmark building in Porto.

With approximately 1,400 square metres of outdoor areas, 144 parking spaces, green spaces, and a rooftop with panoramic views of the Douro River and the Atlantic Ocean, MUTUAL is equipped with solar panels, charging stations for electric vehicles, bicycle parking, and changing rooms.

The project was designed by architecture firm Openbook, which preserved some of the building's original features during the renovation: the murals in the entrance hall, by artist Lídia Vieira, were restored, with the original copper cladding also being reused to create a sculptural panel serving as a backdrop to the building's reception area.

In November 2024, when the move was originally announced, Cláudia Bernardo, partner and COO of Deloitte, described MUTUAL as a "landmark space” in Porto that reinforced the company's "positioning in the northern region of the country."
