Compuworks Opens Porto Office to Strengthen Presence in Northern Portugal
ECO · 19 Jan 2026
Compuworks, an IT infrastructure and cybersecurity company, has announced the opening of a new delegation in Porto. The move is part of a sustained national expansion strategy and reflects the company’s ambition to reinforce its presence in key regional markets across Portugal.

The new office will provide direct coverage of the Northern and Central regions. According to CEO Ricardo Teixeira, proximity to clients and decision-makers remains a critical factor, particularly in a sector where trust and long-term relationships are essential. Compuworks already works with several companies in the North, including Hsols, Cineplace and Maleo.

The Northern operation will be led by Carlos Camelo, appointed Regional Director for the North. With more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector, Camelo has held senior roles at companies such as Decunify and Decsis, where he led enterprise business areas, national operations and international projects in cybersecurity, managed services, delivery and support.

In its first year, the Porto delegation is expected to employ a technical team of ten people, with plans to gradually expand throughout 2026. From a financial perspective, Compuworks estimates revenues of around €1 million in the first year of operations in the North, in line with the company’s consistent growth trajectory, which is expected to reach an average annual growth rate of 25% for the fourth consecutive year by the end of 2025.
