Building a happy corporate world is also Porto’s mission
The Municipality of Porto was present at the third edition of Happiness Camp, which took place last week at the Alfândega Congress Centre, showcasing the tools and strategies used to promote a healthier working environment.
Porto didn't want to miss the call and went to Happiness Camp, in order to show that it also cares about the concept of "corporate happiness". At the Municipality's stand, participants had the opportunity to learn about some action strategies used to attract and retain talent, as well as enhance adaptation, through projects such as Porto Leading Investors, TERA, or ScaleUp.
In addition to the Municipality's stand, the event included other spaces where participants had the opportunity to understand which strategies are used in the corporate world to guarantee the well-being of workers.
Over the course of one day, Happiness Camp had two main stages, the Happy Stage and the Joyful Stage, where more than 25 lectures from international and national experts in happiness and human sustainability took place.
Among the speakers who explored happiness, leadership, organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, the names of Nahal Yousefian, from Netflix, Kelsey Robb, from Google, and Sonya Barlow, from the BBC, stood out. Fred Canto e Castro, from Seekers, and Marta Bastos dos Santos, from Grace, were some of the Portuguese names among the guest speakers.
