Porto Tech
To promote the city of Porto as a leading technological hub in Portugal, Porto has just launched "Porto Tech". Associated with this initiative, the city will be the stage for different activities, from workshops to conferences and hackathons, which will bring together players from the local and international technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Around four thousand people are expected for two weeks - between October 16 and 31 - at more than 10 events associated with Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Deeptech, and Startups.
The calendar of the events is the following:

● Forum on Digital Ethics in Research | ERCIM + INESC TEC: October 18-20 (FEUP);
● Porto Data Powwow | University of Porto: October 20 (FEUP);
● Data Makers Fest | Ripply: October 23 to 24 (Alfândega do Porto);
● Above & Beyond Hangout | Startup Portugal, UPTEC and ScaleUp Porto: October 25 (Selina);
● IDC Security & Cloud Roadshow | IDC: October 26th (Sheraton Porto Hotel);
● Porto Tech - Get Together | ScaleUp Porto: October 26 (Mouco);
● Porto Tech Hub Conference | Porto Tech Hub: October 27 (Alfândega do Porto);
● PWIT AI Hackathon | Portuguese Women in Tech: October 28 (Fisga);
