Cuatrecasas Conference | Regulation of Municipal Tax Exemptions of the Municipality of Porto

On the 15th of October, Cuatrecasas will organize a conference aimed at presenting and discussing the new Regulation on Municipal Tax Exemptions of the Municipality of Porto (RIIMMP), along with recent updates in regards to municipal tax policies.

The Regulation on Municipal Tax Exemptions introduces a new framework of tax exemptions for companies based in the Porto region, having been designed to encourage business investment and boost Porto's economic development.

The conference will take place in the Almeida Garrett Library Auditorium and will be attended by the City Councilor for Economy, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, Ricardo Valente. Several tax law experts from Cuatrecasas will also attend, in order to provide detailed explanations of the new regulation and explain how these measures can be leveraged by companies to increase competitiveness and stimulate new investments.
