ABSL Forum 2024
On November 7th and 8th, the city of Porto will host ABSL forum 2024: Europe at the Crossroads, where new opportunities and risks in the business service sector will be explored.
The Forum will include talks from José Manuel Durão Barroso, former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta, Luís Figo, and the chair of Banco Comercial Português, Nuno Amado, among others. It will be attended by around 250 business and political leaders who will meet to reflect on the business service sector.
The forum will focus on defining the influencing factors and solutions needed to predict and understand the implications of geopolitical movements, adapt business models to the new realities of foreign direct investment, take advantage of artificial intelligence opportunities to improve results, secure future talent by reskilling and enhancing their potential, support the ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) transition, and embrace digital transformation.
The event is organized by ABSL (Association of Business Service Leaders), a non-profit organization for the business services sector that represents more than 600 blue-chip companies. It will also be supported by the Municipality of Porto.
