7.1 Tech Hub Hackathon

From March 27 to April 3, 2025, participants will work on groundbreaking solutions to enhance viewer engagement through interactive streaming. While most of the hackathon will take place remotely, two days will be hosted onsite at LACS Porto, offering a unique opportunity to connect in person, network with industry professionals, and pitch ideas directly to expert judges.

The best teams won’t just win recognition - they’ll take home incredible prizes, including a €500 grand prize in gift cards, a fast-track interview for a 6-9 month paid internship, and a mock interview session with HR experts to refine their job application skills. Throughout the event, participants will benefit from mentorship, inspiring talks, and networking opportunities that could be the stepping stone to an exciting career in media technology.
