Porto Business School launches centre to boost business growth and competitiveness
New platform aims to support entrepreneurship, scale-up strategies and competitiveness
Porto Business School has launched the Center for Entrepreneurship, Growth & Competitiveness, a new initiative designed to support business growth, productivity and competitiveness in Portugal and across Europe.
Created within the school’s Innovation X Hub (IXH), the centre will focus on supporting companies throughout the value creation cycle. Its activities will be structured around three core pillars: entrepreneurship, focused on innovation and new business creation; growth, dedicated to scaling and international expansion; and competitiveness, centred on productivity, resilience and economic performance.
The new platform aims to connect entrepreneurs, investors, companies and policymakers, fostering collaboration and helping address key economic challenges related to productivity, business scale and global competition.
The centre will also develop applied research, executive education programmes, market observatories and strategic projects designed to support both business decision-making and public policy development.
Through research, education and collaboration, the new centre is expected to play an important role in preparing organisations and leaders for the challenges of a rapidly evolving global economy.
