InvestPorto engages with the next generation of talent at Porto career fairs
Initiative strengthens connections between international companies and the city’s academic community.

Alongside several Porto Leading Investors, InvestPorto participated in three major university career events in Porto last week, reinforcing its commitment to connecting top student talent with leading international companies operating in the city.
InvestPorto attended the FEUP Engineering Days 2026, held from 2-5 March at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Designed for the faculty’s more than 9,000 students, the event featured a programme of talks, workshops and networking sessions connecting engineering students directly with potential employers.
InvestPorto also took part in the FJC Porto de Emprego, which took place on 3-4 March at the Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto. Recognised as the largest job fair organised by students in Portugal, the event also offered a wide range of activities, including company presentations, workshops and the Speed Recruitment programme, where participants engage in short one-to-one interviews with recruiters.
The week concluded with InvestPorto’s participation in the Career Day for Undergrads & Master’s, hosted on the 5 March by Católica Porto Business School, where students were connected with national and international companies, offering networking opportunities and insights into recruitment trends, internships and graduate roles.
Through its presence at these events, InvestPorto highlighted the growing number of international companies choosing Porto as a base for innovation and growth, while promoting the diverse career opportunities available to students graduating from the city’s leading universities.
